  1. Q: Are you certified to teach CHL/CCW courses?
    A: Yes. Our instructors are National and State certified and also licensed Ohio attorneys.
  2. Q: Where are your traditional classes held?
    A: Due to the current heath situation, we only offer our 6-hour online / 2-hour in-person class at this time
  3. Q: What do I need to bring to class?
    A: For the class portion you will need to bring your signed waiver forms, your completed test and a great attittude. For the range portion, you need a firearm (or rental), eye/ear protection and 100 rounds of factory ammunition.
  4. Q: How does the 8-hour CCW Class work?
    A: Per Ohio Revised Code, we offer an 8-hour traditional instructor-led classroom course (6 Hours). The remaining 2-hours include your live-fire range time. Due to the current heath situation, we only offer our 2-hour option below (with 6-hour online).
  5. Q: How does the 2-hour CCW certification work?
    A: Per Ohio Revised Code, we can offer a portion of the classroom work online. We have developed 6-hours of online content for you to take on your own. The remaining 2-hours of range time includes your written and physical competency examination, safety briefing and shooting instruction. You will receive you login instructions to the online portion once you register.
  6. Q: What is the content of you course?
    A: Both the traditional (8-hour) and CCW Certification (2-Hour) courses feature the same content. The difference is in the delivery - Instructor-led classroom or online self-study content. We cover all topics required by Ohio Revised Code in additon to:
    The ability to name, explain, and demonstrate the rules for safe handling of a handgun and proper storage practices for handguns and ammunition
    The ability to demonstrate and explain how to handle ammunition in a safe manner
    The ability to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to shoot a handgun in a safe manner

    Shooting Fundementals
  7. Q: Do I need any experience to take your course?
    A: No. We specialize in both new and experienced shooters, couples and ladies.
  8. Q: What if I need to reschedule or want a refund?
    A: We will be glad to work with you if you need to reschedule before the class date. Unfortunately, we can not offer refunds. When you register, you secure a spot in the class. This takes a spot away from another potential student.
